Celebrating our first anniversary with Holly Bush Hideaway
It’s been an incredible (and busy) year since we opened our farm to guests with the launch of our charming shepherd’s hut, fondly known as the Holly Bush Hideaway.
It’s a privilege to be able to share this beautiful corner of the South Shropshire countryside with so many wonderful people, who have all embraced the tranquillity and abundance of nature on our farm.
Our shepherd’s hut has proven its flexibility for guests, time and time again, whatever the weather. Whether it’s providing a cosy, under-floor heated retreat with the wood burner roaring in the winter, or a secluded spot to soak up the sun and embrace eating outside in the summer months, the hut has truly catered for all seasons.
Copper bath with a view
Guests have particularly loved our unique outside copper bath, which offers a luxurious soak no matter the weather. Be it sinking into hot, bubbly water on a crisp winter night, or cooling off with a refreshing dip in the summer sun, drink in hand. It’s an experience that our guests rave about!
The location of Holly Bush Hideaway is a sight to behold. With panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see, guests tell us it’s easy to lose yourself in the beauty of nature here. You get to wake up to the gentle sounds of birdsong, the distant bleating of sheep, and the sound of cows and their calves.
It has certainly been the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for our visitors.

A guest’s suggestion that they would have enjoyed binoculars to better spot the birds in the areas was a stroke of genius that we couldn’t believe we hadn’t thought of sooner! Another learning is, never assume sheep will stay where they should be!
